Rancho Dominguez, CA • July, 2008– Alfred Publishing and Kawai America announce the expansion of their partnership with the release of the new Kawai Concert Artist (CA) series digital pianos containing built-in Alfred lessons. Alfred is the world’s largest publisher of music method books and is a trusted resource for piano teachers throughout the world. Kawai is a world leader in manufacturing both acoustic pianos and digital pianos.

The Concert Artist series is Kawai’s flagship digital piano line. The new CA51/71/91 contain the prerecorded lesson songs from Alfred’s Basic Piano Library Levels 1A/1B, Adult Piano Course Level 1, and the new Premier Piano Course Level 1. With the built-in Alfred songs, piano students can develop perfect practice habits, thus enhancing the weekly lessons given by their piano teacher. Students may slow down the songs, isolate the left and right-hand parts, and even record their performance for evaluation against the professional recording.

The CA series joins the existing CN31 and CN41 digital pianos to total five Kawai digital pianos containing built-in Alfred lessons. In addition, the new CA series feature award-winning wooden-key actions and Harmonic Imaging sound technology. The top-of-the-line CA91 also boasts Kawai’s revolutionary new Soundboard Speaker System.
