In my many years of experience working within the piano-industry, I don’t have a record from any piano manufacturer which has been able to make refinements and improvements to the piano such as Kawai. The development of Kawai instruments it is very substantial, as an example I want to use my experience working for a high-end piano manufacturer from Germany. At the time, those pianos were very well made and very expensive, I feel confident to say that today a Kawai GX outperforms any of those pianos. The GX grand pianos are very high-end pianos and yet reasonably priced. The GX2 it is, in my opinion, the best grand piano almost at 6’00 long that one can purchase under $40,000

I tried two pianos from the big name that should be the Rolls of pianos. And they both were bad. Actually the second piano was defective. I went with a GX2 and will never look back. The quality of fit is better, the action is better, the tone is superb.
