An excellent DP that covers all the bases. Action quite good, second only to the Kawai MP11se for acoustic like feel. Touch analysis very unusual. Shigeru grands are a beautiful addition and very expressive. Patches excellent. Everything very tweakable. Total connectivity. Terrific midi controller. Great for using with iOS or vsts. 30 lbs lighter and more versatile than the MP11se. Unless you are a concert pianist (than the 11se is for you) you won’t find a better stage or studio keyboard at the price (or considerably more). Great work, Kawai! And no, I am not associated with Kawai in any way. Just think these keyboards deserve the appreciation.

I can proudly say that this is my best stage piano ever, the KAWAI MP7se. To give you an idea how good it is, I returned my Roland RD2000 to Sweetwater. The MP7se is superb friendly to use, and the sort of sounds is amazing. It is Built to last. Acoustic pianos are stunning and extremely elaborated, thanks to the Harmonic Imaging Technology; a lot better than the Yamaha CP4 (I own one and compared them side to side). Rhodes, Wurlitzers and clavs are very faithful, playable and useful for any oriented music style. As a music arranger and orchestrator, I would say that the Strings are high quality and adequate, although a little limited in variation, but enough to satisfy your need when it comes to layer with pianos, and other ensembles. Rhodes, Wurlitzers and clavs are very faithful, playable and useful for any oriented music style. As a music arranger and orchestrator, I would say that the Strings are high quality, delightful and well adequate, nice enough to satisfy your need when it comes to layer with pianos, and other ensembles purposes. The MP7se is a must for MIDI, since it provides top MIDI implementation and essential sounds controller capabilities in any scenario. On the other hand, it is excellent for piano teachers, solo performers for small venues like a restaurant (one man band), or just to play piano at home. You can’t go wrong with the KAWAI MP7se! Enjoy it! I hope the KAWAI Virtual Tecnician IOS app can be compatible with it real soon!

For the price they are as good as it can get! I am really impressed when I compare it whith the other brands, action, sound and build quality. I only wish you could have a more compact 73-key RHIII version for smaller gigs. What do you say Kawai..please do it!!
