Each Kawai Master Series upright piano is built around Kawai’s acclaimed Millennium III upright action, incorporating ABS-Carbon composite materials for increased strength, stability, and precision. Combined with a solid spruce soundboard and an enhanced frame and back structure, the Master Series delivers improved tonal flexibility, richer bass response, and consistent performance across a wide dynamic range.
Exclusive hammer felts and hand-wound bass strings inspired by Shigeru Kawai grand pianos help define the warm, richly colored Kawai sound, while the inclusion of a sostenuto pedal across the series expands expressive and performance possibilities rarely found in upright pianos.
