Features
TONE
The CS10 features Kawai’s exclusive Harmonic Imaging XL with 88-key piano sampling. This unique technology creates sounds with the highest level of detail and clarity possible.
TOUCH

REAL UPRIGHT PIANO CABINET
Part of the magic of the CS10 comes from its stunning ebony polished cabinet… the same one used with Kawai’s K2 Professional Upright Piano. A traditional leg and toe block design along with a classic fallboard evoke timeless tradition. The finish is made with durable polyester, the same material used in our acoustic piano finishes.
SOUNDBOARD SPEAKER SYSTEM
The CS10 joins the Kawai CA97 as the world’s only digital pianos that use a real wooden soundboard to create their sound. This unique approach creates a piano tone that is rich, warm and non-directional, offering a playing experience that is closer to that of an acoustic instrument.. Learn More »
USB AUDIO & STORAGE
USB to Device and Host capabilities provide a world of opportunity, including recording and playing digital audio, storing songs, playing song files and connectivity to computers.
STUDIO-QUALITY SOUNDS
The CS10 has a broad selection of studio quality instrumental sounds including electric pianos, organs and orchestral instruments. Any two sounds can be played on the keyboard simultaneously and there is a Split mode where two different instrument sounds can be played on opposite sides of the keyboard. The Four Hands mode splits the keyboard into 2 identical 44-note pianos, allowing simultaneous practice with a teacher or duet partner.
CONCERT MAGIC
This exclusive feature lets anyone enjoy the thrill of playing the piano, even if you’ve never played before. Learn More »
PIANO MUSIC
The CS10 features a selection of popular classical piano works from the Baroque and Romantic periods, nearly two hours of music in all.
LESSONS AND EXERCISES
The CS10 comes with the first year’s lesson songs from Alfred Publishing’s Basic Piano Course 1, Premier Course 1 and Adult Course 1 built in. We’ve also included the printed music and recordings for time-tested finger exercises such as scales, arpeggios and Hanon songs. Learn More »
RECORDER
The CS10 offers an easy to use 10-Song / 2-Track built-in Recorder ideal for self-evaluation or capturing a moment of inspiration.
VIRTUAL TECHNICIAN
A skilled piano technician can personalize an acoustic piano’s sound and touch response. Kawai’s exclusive Virtual Technician does the same for the CS10 digital piano.
GRAND FEEL PEDAL SYSTEM
IThe CS10 features three pedals – soft, sostenuto, and damper (with half-damper capability). The new Grand Feel Pedal System reproduces the individual weighting of each of the three pedals of the Kawai EX concert grand.
JACKS AND CONNECTIONS
In addition to USB, the CS10 has other useful jacks including 2 headphone jacks, MIDI connections and audio input / output jacks for connecting to sound equipment and recording systems.
